Queries

At iGeo Ltd, where possible, we aim to address any questions promptly and thoroughly.

What is insitu testing?

Insitu testing refers to evaluating the physical properties of soil and rock directly at the site with limited disturbance, allowing for accurate data, e.g. for road design or piling mat validation purposes.

How does soakage testing work?

Soakage testing requires a trial pit to be excavated, typically to be between 1-3m deep, which is rapidly filled with water, then recording the time taken and water level at frequent intervals, a total of three times, to provide soil infiltration rates for adequate soakaway sizing purposes.

Why choose iGeo Ltd?
